Biography
Dan Cooley became a member of New Mystics Theatre Company in the summer of 2005. Over the past 5 years, Dan has been a student in directing/acting/playwriting with New Mystics Arts, Inc. Artistic Director/Resident Playwright Joey Madia. In 2006, he was made Asst. Artistic Director and took over as director of NMTC North in the summer of 2007.
Dan teaches acting and directing at Actors Playground School of Theatre and the Count Basie Theatre. For 5 years he has studied acting with Ralph Colombino, and has completed an independent study in directing with Brookdale Community College professor John Bukovec.
In the spring of 2009, Dan was named Resident Director of New Mystics Arts, Inc.
